Biden Appears To Falls Asleep During Climate Change Speech

During the opening ceremony at COP26, Joe Biden seemed to be asleep.

To huge fanfare, the US president arrived in Glasgow as world leaders descended upon our city to attend the UN climate summit.

And video has since been circulated online of Biden struggling to keep his eyes open while listening to the speeches which kickstarted the COP26 conference at the SEC campus.

Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley was mid-speech, talking about the Caribbean island’s role in tackling climate change, with the US President seemingly taking a snooze, Daily Record reports.

Washington Post journalist Zach Pursur Brown reported the moment and recorded Biden “falling asleep”.

Piers Morgan was quick to comment on the president’s tiredness as he retweeted the video and wrote: “Jeez… not the best look when you’re trying to tell the world to wake up.”

Another person wrote: “The camera had to shift off Joe Biden pretty quick, as he closed eyes for a few moments too long.
“Poor bloke. I hope he’s got a lift home.”

Joe Biden and Boris Johnson were pictured meeting during the first day of COP26 as world leaders continue to arrive in Glasgow.

Air Force One touched down at Edinburgh Airport earlier today and the President then traveled in a huge 20-vehicle long motorcade down the M8 to the host city.
