White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby skillfully avoided addressing a query concerning President Biden’s frequent deviations from factual accuracy. This comes in the wake of the president’s erroneous assertion earlier this week, in which he stated that he had been present at Ground Zero on the day following the 9/11 attacks.

“The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?,” during Wednesday’s White House press briefing, a remarkable and surprising moment occurred when Jeff Mordock, a reporter from the Washington Times, posed a question to Kirby.

Kirby, a former Navy rear admiral with extensive experience in military public affairs, skillfully evaded the question. Instead, he emphasized President Biden’s visit to troops in Alaska on Monday and addressed the 80-year-old president’s mistaken statement regarding Ground Zero.

“The president was deeply touched and honored to be able to spend 9/11 with military members there in Alaska and some families and was honored by their presence and the chance to make an important set of remarks about why we need to continue to remember that day. And he did that,” Kirby stated.

President Biden, who is 80 years old, provided a detailed account of the Ground Zero aftermath during his address to military personnel in Anchorage, Alaska. This occurred on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks, as he vividly depicted the scene following the collapse of the World Trade Center.

A White House representative informed The Post on Monday that President Biden was reflecting on his visit to Ground Zero on September 20, 2001. This visit occurred as part of a delegation of 38 senators, nine days after the tragic attack.

Kirby further mentioned that the president’s primary focus remains on preventing any future occurrences of such attacks.
