The Pentagon is looking into an alleged Chinese surveillance balloon that was observed over Billing, Montana.

According to reports, the balloon had been drifting over Montana for several days without being shot down.

President Trump finally spoke out on the balloon that was hovering over Montana.

“SHOOT DOWN THE BALLOON!” Trump wrote in a new Truth Social Post.

Biden chose not to shoot down the balloon because of the “danger of falling debris to people on the ground.”

According to Newsweek, the purported spy balloon was discovered near critical military locations in Montana.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement in response to the purported spy balloon.

They admitted that the balloon was made in China.

They stated, however, that it is a “civilian airship used for research.”

And we’re expected to believe that?

I’m confident that if we had a balloon hovering over Chinese military locations, Xi Jinping would allow it to continue floating around the country.

The Chinese balloon is expected to soar through the United States, eventually landing in Southeast Missouri on Friday.
The trajectory, however, may fluctuate based on the jet stream and weather circumstances.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry responded as follows:

Q: According to media reports, a Chinese unmanned airship has been spotted in US airspace. Do you have any comment?

A: The airship is from China. It is a civilian airship used for research, mainly meteorological, purposes. Affected by the Westerlies and with limited self-steering capability, the airship deviated far from its planned course. The Chinese side regrets the unintended entry of the airship into US airspace due to force majeure. The Chinese side will continue communicating with the US side and properly handle this unexpected situation caused by force majeure.
