Russian officials are preparing for something far greater while US politicians continue to provide money and weaponry to Ukraine.

The Norwegian Intelligence Agency claims that Russia is sending nuclear-armed ships into the Baltic Sea.

It was common practice for Northern Fleet battleships to deploy nuclear bombs at sea during the Cold War, but the Russian Federation of today has never done the same.

Tactical nuclear weapons are “a particularly serious threat in several operational scenarios in which NATO countries may be involved,” even though Russia also has submarine, anti-satellite, and cyber capabilities that might endanger Norway and the NATO military alliance.

The Norwegian intelligence also stated that it is not impossible for a small-scale conflict to grow into a larger one including the United States, NATO, and Norway.

While Russia will continue to develop, modernize, and sustain its nuclear arsenal, the agency concluded that no substantial shifts in Russian nuclear doctrine are anticipated in the near future.

Russian troops are being killed by Ukrainian forces at a rate of 1,000 per day, which may explain why Russia is prepping its nuclear arsenal.

“The 155th brigade already had to be restaffed three times. The first time after Irpin and Bucha; the second time they were defeated near Donetsk – they recovered again. And now almost the entire brigade has already been destroyed near Vuhledar,” said Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military forces.
