This is like the 8th time.
On Christmas with my family here.
My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this.
I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!
“Swatting” is a form of harassment where individuals falsely report an emergency to law enforcement, leading officers to be dispatched to the victim’s location. Numerous conservatives, including activist Jack Posobiec, have reported being victims of swatting. In a similar incident in August 2022, an individual utilized a computer-generated voice to falsely inform the police that someone at Greene’s residence had been shot.
The mentioned incident seemed to be connected to frustration over Greene’s stance on the rights of transgender youth. In a later post on Monday, Greene disclosed that she had received threats the previous week from an individual expressing a desire to engage in physical confrontation with her.
Greene additionally claimed that she reported the messages to Capitol Police, and as of now, the individual in question has not been apprehended. The Capitol Police communicated with her through email, acknowledging the individual’s responses to inquiries regarding the threats.
During the 2024 election cycle, Greene has been a fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump and has openly contemplated the possibility of serving as his running mate.
