A number of Biden administration staff workers have left their roles in the last two weeks, and now there’s another to add to the list. Following a difficult period of defending Biden’s developing classified document problem, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield resigned on Friday.
Kate Bedingfield, who has served as White House Communications Director since President Biden's inauguration, will leave the White House at the end of February and will be replaced by Ben LaBolt. LaBolt's making history as the first openly gay White House communications director.

Bedingfield appeared to be trying to keep up with the escalating problems surrounding the Biden administration in a recent interview.

Bedingfield’s resignation is yet another high-ranking official leaving the government this year. Chief of Staff Ron Klain stepped down earlier this week after two years in the position, and he has been replaced by Jeff Zients, who previously headed the administration’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
